The course duration is 3-4 days. The 4 days can be split into separate sessions to allow candidates / employers to plan their time in the classroom around their work commitments. To complete your theory modules via distance learning before attending a 1 day practical workshop assessment choose the “online” option when asked to select a date.

The course fee includes your registration with the scheme and your wallet I.D card.

This module can be completed as one block with the TTP Protective Coating Applicator if required.

Pre-requisite; candidates must already hold the TTP Bronze card if they wish to book this as a stand a lone course.

Who’s it for?

SSPC Train the Painter is the internationally accredited coating applicator training and certification programme created and developed by experts throughout the industry. TTP Bronze, Silver and Gold are now required industry qualifications for many major contractors

Offering industrial coating applicators, blasters and sprayers a comprehensive package of training modules that ensure professionalism, promote good working practice and a thorough insight into methods of surface treatment and application of protective coatings.

Requirements

On completion of the course candidates are registered as either a Silver or Gold member of the TTP scheme dependant on prior completion of the Protective Coating module and/or the Spray Painting module.

This module can be completed as one block with the Protective Coatings and / or the Spray Painting module if required.

Qualification

The course duration is 3-4 days, at the end of the course candidates are assessed via a written assessment and a practical assessment.

On completion of the course candidates are registered as either a Silver or Gold member of the TTP scheme dependant on prior completion of the Protective Coating module and/or the Spray Painting module.

Your qualification will last for 5 years before renewal is needed. It now includes the CSCS card as standard.
