QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL
At HC Technical, we believe in the importance of quality control from the onset and ensuring all parties are aware of the project requirements.
Our involvement generally starts prior to contract award so we can assist the client on project technical documents required to be submitted by the contractor.
We will assist in producing the Inspection Test Plans ‘ITP’s’ and contractors quality control package covering the inspection and testing to meet project specific data requirements.
The importance of this early project stage involvement can’t be under estimated as it sets out the guidelines and requirements to ensure a successful contract is achieved and quality is obtained throughout the process.
Please get in touch to discuss your quality planning requirements.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
HC Technical has often been appointed to mediate as an independent third party to minimise the time and cost of disputes.
As recognised leading experts in protective and intumescent coatings, we provide our expert dispute resolution services to insurance companies, law firms, loss adjusters, paint companies, asset owners, facility operators and manufacturers.

ICORR LEVEL 3 PROJECT INSPECTION SERVICES
With ICORR and NACE qualified inspectors we are the obvious choice within the industry sector to complete this type of specialist work. All paint inspection projects are carried out by our level 3 iCORR certified industrial coatings inspector and will typically involve the following steps:
1. A review of the project specification, which may involve a review of the contractor’s coatings submittals to verify conformance.
2. The creation of an Inspection Test Plan tailored specifically to the project.
3. A full examination of all paintings and coatings is carried out to assess baseline, thickness, corrosion, and fire damage.
4. A detailed report is then produced for the client, highlighting weak points in their coatings and recommendations for improvements.
